  • Dr. Bloom, individually, as well as in accordance with his businesses, is dedicated to community involvement in and around the properties he owns and those being developed, as well as involvement with national and international charities. Of particular interest to Dr. Bloom and his companies are charities for veterans, children, seniors and various Cancer Research Charities.

Included among Dr. Bloom’s honors, are the following:

  • Optimist International Past President – Dr. Bloom was past President of Optimist International in California, whose mission is to provide hope and a positive vision to bring out the best in kids.
  • CHILDHELP ― Honorary Member & Awarded for the CHILDHELP Facility in Washington, D.C. – Dr. Bloom received a special award for assistance in fund raising at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, which enabled the construction of the CHILDHELP Facility in Washington, D.C. CHILDHELP USA is a national non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. CHILDHELP USA is the epicenter of the annual CHILDHELP National Day of Hope, which emphasizes their continual efforts throughout the year to save child victims of abuse and neglect – to live safer, healthier and happier lives.
  • California Law for the Prevention of Animal Cruelty – Dr. Bloom assisted in the formation of California Proposition 6, an initiative statute that passed in a ballot election and became California State Law. This important law was initiated in order to prevent the cruelty to animals and the prevention of the transportation of animals – where these animals would suffer extreme brutality. This law provides for stiff penalties and sentences for violators who take part in these inhumane activities against animals.
